what?
On
our last period, which is next semester, we have prepared some of the best
events that you must join and shall not to be missed. There are seven events
that PUSU will conduct and some of the events are opened for outside PresUniv
students. That is so cool, isn’t it? Therefore, we will discuss in this article
about what those seven events are that we have prepared so you will not be
missed by these events. Then, what are we waiting for? Let’s start!
1. Grant of Hopes (September 21st,
2013)
We
will start this semester by doing something nice to others through this event.
Grant of Hopes (GoH) is a charity event conducted by Non-Art division of
Student Activity Ministry PUSU 2013. We will visit an orphanage in Bekasi and
we will do a charity activity in that orphanage. For your information, GoH has
done a pre-event activity by collecting the wishes of kids around our campus on
April until July. How cool is that, right? So, if you have any questions or you
might want to donate something to the orphanage, you may ask directly to this

2. Coaching Clinic part 2 (September 25th,
2013)
If
you are from Batch 2011, you are recommended to participate in this event,
Coaching Clinic. The reasons is this event helps your ability and performance
on the coaching programs into suitable
employment, develops confidence, prepares skills
for interviews, and builds strong team-work in the real
workplace. On this
second part, the activities will be centered in team work skills. Even though
this event is fitted only for batch 2011, we are very open for batch 2012 and
2013 to also participate in this event. To make it more interesting, this event
is only open for 100 seats. If you still have any questions regarding to this

3. Song Writing Competition (June – October 2013)
If
you have a hobby in making a song or writing lyrics, Song Writing Competition
is a good event for you. Song Writing Competition is a part of President
University Idol competition, therefore the winner of SW competition will be a
winning song for the winner of PresUniv Idol. With the theme “Star Accession – Feel the World through
your Voice”, this competition expects you to create a song for the next
winner of PresUniv Idol 2013. Additional information, this competition is open
for Jabodetabek region. Therefore, go and sign yourself in http://songwriting.pusu.or.id before the registration day closes

4. President Youth Leadership Camp (October
10th – 13th, 2013)
This
is the biggest region scope event that PUSU conducts. President Youth
Leadership Camp or PYLC is an external
event that will invite Senior High School Students and first-year college
students in Indonesia. This event is made with purposes as a media to enhance
their leadership skill and other soft skill developments such as public
speaking, teamwork etc. The theme for this year’s PYLC is “Great Leaders for a Great Nation”. There will be exciting
activities such as Seminar, Workshop, Visiting an Instance, social activity,
class session, and this camp will end with Conference; a forum to discuss about
selected topic given and produce solution about the topic. That is so much

5. President University Idol 2013 (October –
November 2013)
This
is an annual singing competition at President University. The theme of this
event is “Star Accession – Feel the
World through Your Voice”. In this competition, you will get a chance to
have an experience of being a singing idol at this university. You will be able
to introduce your voice to the whole campus. The registration will open in
around September until October. The grand final will be held in the beginning
of November. We can guarantee this is the coolest singing competition on the
campus and something that you will not want to miss.
6. President University Youth Character
Builder (November 16th, 2013)
Similar
with Song Writing Competition, this event seeks a target participant in
Jabodetabek region. President University Youth Character Builder or PYCB is an
event that will help you build your character. Moreover, this event is using a
method named Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP); an approach to communication,
personal development, and psychotherapy. This NLP system has been used by some
of famous people, for example Merry Riana, Bong Chandra, Bill Gates, and even Barrack
Obama. The trainers come from professional institution, which is already
certified from the United States, and has trained some big corporations such as
Pertamina, Toyota, and more. There will be only 100 seats available in this
event and the Open Registration will officially open on Monday (August 19th,

7. Club Award and Degree (November 16th,
2013)
The
last event we will conduct is Club Award and Degree. This is an event that will
invite all Clubs and Communities under the supervision of PUSU to gather and
appreciate their contributions and hard working in one year period. There will
be an interesting agenda containing interesting items such as some categories
of awards, performances from some clubs, legalization of communities, and
introduction from the communities that have become clubs.
Well,
they are all events that PUSU will conduct. The events are so much cool and
