Hello PresUnivers!!!
All of you already know about PresUniv Idol, right?
Ya, as an annual event, PUSU conducted PresUniv Idol 2012 in this semester. PresUniv Idol is the singing competition of PresUniv students. There were more than 100 PresUnivers who register their name, around 80 contestant joined the audition, then the committee choose TOP 50, TOP 20, TOP 12, partiture week, semifinal day, and Finalis TOP 5.
The final night and closing just conducted on Wednesday, Oct 31th, 2012 at Student Housing Area. The event started around 7 PM and finished around 10 PM. The 5 finalists are Ruth Lambok Lumaris, Tia Darlina, Andre Revian Danu, Billy Verian, dan Annisa
Ayuditha Chandra. The final night also had the performances from Pandu,
PresUniv Idol 2010, Yoanda Marpaung, the winner of PresUniv Idol 2011, Rebecca
“Mamamia”, and band from PresUniv.
The final night was attended by many PresUnivers who really supported this event. The Master of Ceremony of this event, Pricilla Di Chiara and Lambertus Daniel could create the amazing experience there, like the theme of this year PresUniv Idol, Beyond the Star. The judges were consist of Tio from Purwacaraka, Yoanda and Felani as the Finalist of PresUniv Idol 2011.

All finalist performed twice in that final night, then after that the judges chose TOP 2 Finalist, who are Andre Revian Danu and Tia Darlina. The TOP 2 Finalist sang the PresUniv Idol 2012 song, who was created through the PresUniv Song Writing Competition 2012, which be won by Dwi Cahyani, PresUnivers. This Song Writing Competition is the creating creative song competition, which open for public for this year.

After sang the PresUniv Idol 2012 Song, the event also en-lived by the performances from the Guest Star, and then MC announced the winner of Best Supporter, TOP Vote, and the winner of PresUniv Idol 2012. Finalist with the best supporter is Andre Revian Danu. And the WINNER OF PRESUNIV IDOL 2012 is TIA DARLINA, PresUniv Accounting 2011 student.

The final night was closed by giving the trophy from PresUniv Idol 2012 Project Manager, Adrianus Aditya, to the winner of PresUniv Idol 2012, Tia Darlina. This event also reported by some media partners, such as Radio Dakta, Info Bekasi, and Campus Life.
Hopefully through this event, all PresUnivers can be motivated to more creative and be brave to show our talents. BEYOND THE STAR! (agatha)
